Since October 2022, I have been working as a Software Developer in the Industrial Equipment Technology department at the ifm group of companies in Tettnang. My career at the company began in 2016 with an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development, followed by a dual degree in computer science with a focus on information technology.
In my current role, I take full ownership of software development — from requirements analysis through design and implementation to commissioning. I develop and extend software for existing production systems, implement plant-specific user and communication interfaces, and ensure quality through specifications, clean code, and documentation in line with development guidelines.
As part of an agile platform development team for special-purpose machinery and systems, I work full stack across frontend and backend. A particular focus has been supporting the introduction of testing and quality standards in the software development environment — in close collaboration with partners in India. I also create technical documentation and support software commissioning and production trials together with customers.
